FEEDBACK

2008 BTCC Chevorlet driver Matt Allison recently came to ALT to sharpen his
driving skills but this time not to gain valuable on track seconds but for some more
sedate manoeuvres whilst gaining his B+E category licence. Thus enabling Matt
and his family to enjoy a more comfortable stay during race weekends in his new
  caravan.
  March 2008

With ALT's flexible training it allowed Matt to fit his lessons in around his busy day
job enabling him to pass 1st time. ALT wish him the same success with his racing
this year! To follow Matt's progress log onto his website

After a few words from the Manager , it was left to the Two Matts

Roadshow to spin the Decks.

All trophies were supplied by Marion Knights contact her on 01692 582182 or visit the website http://www.knightsrosettes.co.uk

Our first training session is yet to announced but there are some other news to be revealed in the next few weeks..........

Recent Vistors.......

Just back in the country for a quick visit were old friends Neil and Jill Blackwell along with son Taylor.

Neil used to be one of Roger's race mechanics as well

as a fitter for local Daf dealers Ford and Slater, then drove skip trucks for his in laws at Arnall Caps.

Jill had driven for Turners in Norwich on Tankers,

before going on to pass her ADI and onto car instruction, before getting a job with a Bury St Edmund's based LGV driver school.

Neil and Jill then took the big step and emigrated to Canada,

where they both work for Tandit, one of Canadas largest

truck rental companies.

NOT HEARD FROM 'TAFFY' ?

We'd like to think Jon and Linda are still smiling as we have not really heard much from them since the final shakedown on 'Taffy' their elegant motor home

Jon who passed his Category C LGV driver course back in February, and Linda were aiming to do some world wide travelling in style with this custom built vehicle. You can see the build, construction and their progress at http://www.lindaandjon.net or even if you fancy something like this yourself then go to http://www.scsporthomes.com

 Jack's mum passes........

Clare Blunt , thats Jack's mum , from Swaffham has

successfully passed her category 'C' licence with ALT, but then that would have been no suprise to Jack ,as he knew mum had the right stuff as she had plenty of experience of operating construction equipment on some of the Uk's largest development

sites. Clare had shared tuition on her course along with Danny from Norwich, who also got through at the first time.

So when dinosaur fan Jack tell school friends what mum does it's just a little more out of the ordinary,

but then again when dad owns helicopters....

not the full sized ones, well what a lucky lad.

PARTNERS PASS 'B+E' TOGETHER

Robyn Sanders and Jo Hall had a recent saturday test appointment one after the other to gain their B+E qualification.                       " It's mainly to tow our Horses around which we have charge of " Jo explained.

Both enjoyed driving the Vito which ALT supply for their canidates to use. " Quite alot of the companies offer Training, but use small cars or you have to supply your own vehicle which means there is alot of requirements laid down for the Examiners, so this was by far the most simple and cost effective way." remarked Robyn.

It might have been raining but nothing can hide the smiles
